Accomodations

When you stay at the Carlton Hotel Inn & Suites during your visit to Salt Lake City, you will undoubtedly soak up a part of the area’s history. Part of the experience of staying in an older hotel is getting a glimpse into the lives of previous generations. The Carlton Inn and Suites has been remodeled several times and boasts all the modern amenities, but the ambiance remains of a European classic.

The Carlton has significantly less come-and-go traffic than many larger tourist hotels. The staff knows many of our guests by name, guests that return year after year. Some stay long term to conduct research at the LDS Family History Library while others come for conventions, the Utah Symphony or to catch the exciting NBA action of the Utah Jazz.

While the Carlton may have the feel of charming European hotel, there’s one very welcome difference. Unlike most older European hotel properties, there’s plenty of “room” in the rooms at the Carlton– you can actually walk around both sides of the bed even in standard rooms! Non-smoking rooms, standard rooms and spacious, comfortable suites are available at very reasonable rates.
